At Better Being, we’re a group of tertiary educated health professionals on a mission
to improve people’s lives. We’ve spent over 15 years using evidence-based practices
to create bespoke programs that combine physical, physiological and interpersonal
skills to provide tangible benefits - in the workplace and at home.
At the moment, Australia has some of the highest rates of obesity, diabetes, and mental
illness in the world. People spend the majority of their time at work, so that’s where the
change has to start - at a personal and organisational level.
Health isn’t just the absence of disease but the
presence of performance, satisfaction and wellbeing.
The Better Being team encapsulates a range of specialities and experiences, but the one thing
everyone has in common is the drive to help people stop surviving and start thriving in today’s world.

The Better Being team were incredibly flexible and responsive in supporting our team build quality online content for an integrated digital employee wellbeing platform. From articles, podcasts to exercise videos, the team covered a diverse spectrum of topics related to physical wellbeing, and provided information in way that was relatable and easy to digest. Really enjoyed working with them.
Given the wide variety of roles, shift patterns and demands across Amatil, it can be difficult to co-ordinate any session and have our people be willing to utilise their valuable time. Better Being have been willing to work with us to ensure these sessions are widely accessible to our people and our people are very keen to be able to access these sessions in their own time. The content is fantastic by itself, but the facilitators really bring it to life and make it incredibly engaging.
The services from Better Being had a really positive effect on the morale of the team. We work long hours, stuck behind a desk, so getting out into the fresh air and sunshine, working up a sweat and having a laugh refreshes and energizes the whole team. It gave our team the opportunity to explore their own personal wellness; whether it concerned their lifestyle goals, nutrition or fitness expectations.
