In 2022, Better Being won the Australian Workplace and Safety Award for Leadership and Culture, as a result of our work with client's who undertook the High Performance program.
The client’s brief was to improve the wellbeing of their remote team who were feeling disconnected, stressed and on the verge of burnout.
Over 12-weeks, employees and the organisation saw dramatic successes.
Individuals reported feeling happier at the end of the program compared to the start, with wellbeing index scores increasing from 75% - 89%.
At a team level, managers reported a shift in team culture, with more people talking regularly and openly about wellbeing.
At an organisation level, the team was able to increase their overall performance for that quarter, which then led to the implementation of the High Performance program across the entire business.
I liked that this program gave me an opportunity to collectively think and review all aspects of my physical and mental wellbeing. These elements are clearly linked so it made sense to consider them together. The staff were professional and listened. It was a great opportunity to perhaps discuss life at work more candidly, which in itself helps exposing any problems. I got a lot out of this program and enjoyed the regular 1-on-1 catchups.
